Introduction

The short film was shot in 2020 and is still in the post-production process and has not yet been completed. In the future, the world view of this short film may be expanded and used as a feature film or game project.

The movie drew inspiration from the ethnic legend of the "She" people in Fujian Province, China, regarding the Cat Deity. It was influenced by director Guillermo del Toro.

Synopsis

In the 1960s, a remote religious village in the southeast coastal area was forced to relocate due to the rise of a 'religious movement' throughout the country. With the advance of Haimu and Yimu, they entered the back of a valley, where they restarted their lives in the coastal area. It seems they can never escape this place, and here, it feels like another dimension of the world.
